Dolce Flav cotton candy flavoring is a water-soluble concentrate for compatible drinks, baked goods and frozen desserts. Use it to build cotton candy flavor into a recipe while keeping its sugar, liquid and texture ingredients separate.
Four ways to use cotton candy flavoring
- Frosting: Test a small portion of your finished frosting before flavoring the full batch.
- Cakes and cookies: Mix into a compatible batter or dough and assess the flavor after baking and cooling.
- Smoothies and milkshakes: Blend thoroughly into the drink base, then adjust the recipe’s sweetness separately.
- Ice cream: Trial the flavor in a small batch of your base and assess it after freezing before scaling up.
How much cotton candy flavoring should you use?
Dolce Flav’s general recommendation for most flavoring applications is approximately 0.3–0.6% by weight of the total recipe, with product-specific directions taking precedence. For a 1,000 g total recipe, that is 3–6 g of flavoring. Use a scale; teaspoons measure volume and need a product-specific weight conversion. See the flavoring directions and weight-based usage guide.
Choose the formulation for your recipe
Water-soluble flavoring and oil-soluble flavoring are different formulations. Do not assume this water-soluble product is suitable for plain melted chocolate or another fat-only mixture. Check the current product directions and ingredient documentation for your application.
