Hazelnut Flavoring Extract Water Soluble

To make this Hazelnut Frosting for Cakes, start by beating softened butter until creamy. Gradually incorporate powdered sugar to create a thick, smooth base. Add hazelnut extract, vanilla, and a pinch of salt for a rich, nutty flavor. Adjust the consistency with heavy cream or milk, then whip the frosting until light and airy. This frosting spreads and pipes beautifully and pairs perfectly with chocolate, vanilla, or coffee cakes for a professional finish.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 cups powdered sugar, sifted
  • 1–1.5 tsp Hazelnut Flavoring / Extract
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2–3 tbsp heavy cream or milk
  • Pinch of salt

Directions

  1. Beat the Butter Place softened butter in a large mixing bowl and beat on medium-high speed for 2–3 minutes until creamy and smooth.
  2. Add Powdered Sugar Gradually add sifted powdered sugar, one cup at a time, mixing on low speed to prevent sugar dust, then increase to medium speed until fully combined.

  3. Add Flavor and Salt Stir in Hazelnut Extract, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt until fully incorporated.

  4. Adjust Consistency Add heavy cream or milk one tablespoon at a time until the frosting reaches the desired spreading or piping consistency.

  5. Whip Until Fluffy Beat the frosting on medium-high speed for 1–2 minutes until light, airy, and fluffy.

  6. Frost Your Cake Spread or pipe the frosting onto cakes, cupcakes, or cookies immediately.

  7. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week; rewhip before use.
