These homemade Raspberry Candy-Filled Gummies deliver a sweet, chewy gummy exterior with a surprise burst of raspberry-flavored syrup inside. The gelatin mixture is heated until smooth, flavored with Raspberry Extract or Raspberry Flavoring, then poured into gummy molds halfway to create a base. A simple raspberry candy syrup is added in the center before sealing with more gummy mixture. After chilling, the gummies release easily from the mold with a professional, glossy finish. This is a fun, delicious candy recipe perfect for gifting, snacking, or parties, and the strong raspberry aroma makes every bite irresistible.
Ingredients
Gummy Shell
-
1/2 cup cold water
-
3 tbsp unflavored gelatin (3 packets)
-
1/4 cup corn syrup
-
1 cup granulated sugar
-
1/2–1 tsp Raspberry Flavoring
-
Optional: Red or pink gel coloring
Raspberry Liquid Candy Filling
-
1/4 cup water
-
1/2 cup granulated sugar
-
2 tbsp corn syrup
-
1/4 tsp Raspberry Flavoring
-
Optional: 1–2 drops red gel color
Directions
1. Make the Raspberry Gummy Base
In a saucepan, whisk together water and gelatin; let bloom for 5 minutes.
Add corn syrup and sugar, then heat on low until dissolved and smooth—avoid boiling.
Remove from heat and stir in Raspberry Flavoring and optional coloring.
Keep warm so the mixture stays pourable.
2. Create the Raspberry Candy Filling
In a separate small saucepan, combine water, sugar, and corn syrup.
Heat until sugar dissolves and mixture thickens slightly (225°F–230°F or thread stage).
Remove from heat and mix in Raspberry Flavoring and optional color.
Allow to cool until thick but still pourable.
3. Assemble the Candy-Filled Gummies
Fill each gummy mold cavity halfway with the warm gummy base.
Top with more gummy mixture to seal the filling inside.
Tap mold gently to remove air bubbles.
4. Chill and Remove
Refrigerate for 1 hour, or until firm.
Remove gummies from molds and store in an airtight container.
Recipe Note
10 Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

For gummies, water-soluble flavoring is best. Oil-soluble may separate.
2. My gummies are too soft—why?
You may need more gelatin. Humidity can also affect texture.
3. How do I prevent bubbles?
Pour slowly and tap the mold lightly.
4. Can I skip the filling?
Yes! Just fill the molds fully with gummy mixture for regular gummies.
5. Can I make these vegan?
Use agar-agar, but texture will be firmer and less chewy.
6. What if the syrup hardens too fast?
Warm it again over low heat to loosen it.
7. How long do the gummies last?
Up to 2 weeks in an airtight container.
8. Do I need a candy thermometer?
Not required but helpful for consistent results.
9. Can I double the recipe?
Yes—just maintain the same ratios.
10. Why did my filling leak out?
The first gummy layer may not have partially set before adding the filling. Let it rest 2–3 minutes before adding syrup.
