Choosing peppermint flavor for your next batch
Match the formula to your recipe. This peppermint flavoring is oil-soluble, with sunflower oil and natural flavors listed above. Choose it for compatible chocolate, fat-based fillings and baking trials. Do not assume it dissolves in water-based drinks; confirm the appropriate formula before using it in an aqueous recipe.
Start with a weighed trial
Use 0.3–0.6% of the complete unflavored batch weight, adding flavor on top. Begin at the low end and check the current product guidance for your application. A 1,000 g unflavored base uses 3–6 g total flavor. For hard candy, calculate from the cooked mixture before flavor addition. If combining peppermint with another flavor concentrate, both share that one allowance.
Move from a sample to a production batch
Record the exact product, base weight, flavor grams, mixing sequence and result. Once a small trial works, scale every ingredient by the same weight ratio and verify mixing, flavor distribution and finished quality again. Larger equipment and heat exposure can change results; a bigger bottle does not establish a validated production process.
Choose a size from your tested usage
Compare the available size prices using the flavor grams your recipe actually needs. Keep your bottle lot number and request a lot-specific certificate when required. For bulk availability or application questions, request a bulk flavor quote.
