"I bought this flavor to make marshmallows for a Potato Festival, as I wanted one flavor that would tie in as close to the festival theme as possible. I didn't know what to expect, as I'd never had ube before, but boy, was I pleasantly surprised! The taste reminded me of a sweet popcorn. The ube marshmallows were a hit! I'm planning on making some hard candy with this flavor."

OK, there are 2 types

"OK, there are 2 types of almond flavors you can use when baking. There is Almond Extract (made from real almonds) and Almond Essence (artificial). Needless to say, the extract is the one you want to use. This bottle of Almond Extract given its name should be natural, but when you look at the ingredients you see artificial flavoring, Very disappointing. ----- Updated 9/6/23 - The last pic on the listing states natural and artificial flavor while my bottle only states natural flavor, so it looks like the listing is incorrect. Updated my stars based on this info. Hopefully, the seller will update their picture."

This gets all the extra

"This gets all the extra points from me for the clear color alone - I always spill flavorings and extracts. Almond is my favorite light flavor for any dessert and this is a great addition to my mochi cakes; keeping the flavor light and not overpowering. This could be added to anything - a touch in coffee, ice creams (yum), and muffins. Good packaging and a large bottle. You only need a 1/2tsp to start and add from there depending on how strong you want the flavor to be. It won't overpower though."

This Dolce Foglia Almond Extract

"This Dolce Foglia Almond Extract is not a true extract, but it tastes nice in my iced coffees. It smells yummy, and has a pretty authentic almond flavor. It's not as concentrated of a flavor as I expected, but it still doesn't take too much to get the flavor I like. I've tried several different flavorings made by this company, and love them all. Recommended!"

I am a baker and

"I am a baker and enjoy adding extra flavor to give my bakes a boost. I made almond cookies and added this flavoring. The cookies had an excellent almond flavor that was natural and pleasant. I also added it to my cherry cake to elevate the cherry flavor and it performed well. I did need to add a bit more than usual to each bake but the almond flavor did come through without any after taste. This was a good buy."

Admittedly, I'm not much of

"Admittedly, I'm not much of a baker, so I left this aside on the chance I decided to pick up baking and make banana bread. It was a bit of a process at first, but along the usual ingredients and plantains, I decided to incorporate almond extract to add some extra vanilla-ish flavor to it. I added in a few drops and it turned out to be a nice addition to the banana flavor. The banana bread turned out a little rough, I'll admit, but the addition of almond extract managed to salvage it quite a bit. I'll work on my banana bread recipe a bit more, but I think this almond extract will become a staple for this moving forward."
