Great for: Water-based drinks, baked goods, sauces, frozen desserts, and more.
Pistachio Extract: choosing and using your flavor
Explore a creamy, nutty pistachio flavor for water-based drinks, baked goods and frozen desserts. A flavor concentrate does not supply the texture or solids of pistachio paste. Confirm current ingredient and allergen documentation for your application.
Recipe testing: For most flavoring applications, Dolce Flav recommends approximately 0.3–0.6% of the unflavored batch weight. For a 500 g unflavored batch, that is 1.5–3 g of flavoring; for a 1 kg unflavored batch, 3–6 g. Product-specific instructions take precedence. Weigh the flavoring, test a small batch and assess the finished flavor after cooking, cooling or freezing before scaling.
Bottle and bulk sizes: Choose from 2 oz, 8 oz, 32 oz, 1 gallon and 5 gallon sizes. Check the size selector for current availability and pricing. Ask Dolce Flav about bulk flavors and wholesale orders, including your application and expected volume.

Choose pistachio extract for your recipe
This water-soluble pistachio flavoring is intended for compatible drinks, baked goods and frozen desserts. Browse baking extracts and ice cream flavorings for more recipe options.
For a compatible fat-based application, compare oil-soluble pistachio flavoring. Check each formula and the flavor use guide before substituting one format for another. Flavoring does not replace the texture or fat of pistachio nuts or paste; confirm current ingredient and allergen information for your recipe.

Calculate flavor weight from the unflavored batch: 1,000 g of mixture gets 3–6 g of flavor. For hard candy, use the cooked mixture’s weight before adding flavor. Choose the flavor formula suited to your application and test a small batch first.
Plan your pistachio recipe trial
For an ice cream base, start with this water-soluble formula and evaluate the finished frozen dessert. For plain chocolate or a fat-based coating, compare the separate oil-soluble pistachio formula instead. Concentrate does not replace pistachio paste or its texture.
When blending flavors, the 0.3–0.6% starting range is the combined total, added to the unflavored batch or component. A 1,000 g base takes 3–6 g total flavor, not 3–6 g of each flavor. Keep the same measured base and process when comparing trials.
Plan your next order: Record grams used per batch and multiply by planned batches. Use verified net flavor weight, not shipping weight, when estimating bottle yield. Explore flavors for ice cream and frozen desserts for compatible combinations.
